Coronavirus curfew to begin in California

California is to begin a night time curfew in an attempt to curb a surge in Coronavirus(COVID-19) cases.

The western United States(US) state’s latest figures are now worse than the previous peak in August.

Across the United States, the daily death toll linked to Coronavirus(COVID-19) has passed 2000 for the first time since May.

The United States has now more than 12 million confirmed infections, with more than 255,000 deaths, by far the highest in the world.

In United Kingdom, a tougher three tiered system of local restrictions will come into force when the lockdown ends on 2 December, Downing Street has said.
