The daughter of the Senior Superintendent of Police(SSP) in charge of the Nugegoda division and another person have been arrested by the Cinnamon Gardens Police for recklessly driving a luxury jeep without a driver’s license and causing an accident.

The accident involving the daughter of the Senior Superintendent of Police in charge of the Nugegoda Division had taken place last afternoon when she lost control of the luxury jeep she was driving.

The jeep had crashed on to a private car showroom near Independence Avenue in front of the Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa Theater, causing severe damage to the showroom. The accident had caused severe damages to a luxury car displayed for sale at the vehicle showroom.

Shortly after the accident, a person was seen removing the number plates of the SUV.

A conversation on social media began over the young woman who was seen standing near the scene of the accident, stating that the female in question was the daughter of the SSP.

Sharing a message on her social media, the young woman, Sindy Wickramanayake stated that she is not the SSP’s daughter and that she was not involved in that vehicle accident.
