Media Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health resigns

It was reported this afternoon that Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara, who was the media spokesperson for the Ministry of Health Sri lanka, has been removed from the post.

When inquired about this change, he said that the Minister of Health Mrs. Pavithra Wanniarachchi had requested him to resign from the post.

Previously Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara also served as the Director of the Medical Research Institute, Borella.
