Melbourne to largely emerge from COVID-19 lockdown

Australia‘s Coronavirus(COVID-19) hotspot of Victoria State reported two new cases today after posting no infections in the previous two days as the state capital, Melbourne, emerged from more than three months of a hard lockdown.

Restaurants and cafes in Melbourne, home to five million people, can now reopen, and limits on social gatherings at homes have been eased, allowing two adults and dependents from one house to visit another household.

Melbourne has been under strict Coronavirus(COVID-19) lockdown measures since early July, and the Australia’s state government has been accused of inflicting unnecessary economic damage by not relaxing restrictions sooner.
