WHO warns of a second COVID-19 wave in Europe

The World Health Organization has warned regarding the second wave of Coronavirus(COVID-19) spreading across the European region. The World Health Organization stated that the effects of the second wave of the Coronavirus(COVID-19), which is currently spreading through the European region, are far worse than the first wave.

In the past few weeks, the number of coronavirus patients reported from Italy has surpassed the number of Coronavirus(COVID-19) cases reported during the first wave.

The cases spike is observed in the backdrop of strict travel restrictions that were imposed. The highest number of daily cases were also reported yesterday , with 16,079 cases being reported.
